Code Of Conduct
The Hills Wellness Expo is about promoting health professionals within their particular fields. Many of us wear many hats but please make sure that what you are promoting on the day is in line with your specific qualification/s. Of particular note:
- Do not sell or promote ingestible nutritional supplements or medications if you are not a qualified doctor, nutritionist /dietician/ naturopath/etc
- If you are selling products make sure they comply with Australian standards.
- Ensure you are only practising in fields in which you are qualified for, and covered by your insurance. If we believe you are failing to comply with this, we may request products be removed, you may be asked to stop promoting a service, or your participation may be terminated.
- Our first duty of care is “do no harm”; this is in our practices and is core to Hills Wellness Expo as well.
- It is essential that we respect each others’ modalities and businesses; if it is an area that does not align with your beliefs, that’s fine, but we must be respectful and professional to each other at all times. Disparaging comments about other modalities will not be tolerated.
- Attendees, fellow exhibitors, volunteers, and Castle Hill RSL staff are to be treated with respect and courtesy at all times.
